Hearts tend to overcomplicate things, but poems soothe their woes. This book is a compilation of twenty hastily arranged necklaces of words, each one a little different than the rest but principally the same: written while surrounded by moonshine, thought of for days and nights, and loved. Not all of them may give you the rush that first loves do, and some of them might lack a little in legibility. Excuse them, they're learning. To live, to laugh, to breathe.

But don't worry, they'll deliver, they always do. What is poetry, after all, if not a collection of imperfect daydreams and perfect people? So let the violet flares of closed eyes frolic into these pages, and step into my boulevard of lavenders.
