Description of the Book:
As kids we'd pass chits at school to relay seemingly urgent needs (or news), talk about inane things, or cheat on tests. This book is a jar of crumpled chits - chits of solace, comfort, beauty, magic, and glitter. There is also a lot of talk about wrinkles - about all that makes us human, fragile, fragmented, and vulnerable. The artwork on the cover (by Ishtha Kapoor) beautifully represents the spirit of this book - free, linked to nature, and fully human.
This book is a compilation of tiny letters that you can keep for your yourself or send to the people you love. The poems are about the tiniest of things, all the fractured, imperfect, and ordinary beauty that makes up our lives. So read deeply, simply, lightly. And then, pass the chits on.
