Is it a void or a pang of longing or pain or sadness or all of it put together or something else altogether? Nobody seems to know how to explain the feeling. It’s just there. Most times you never know why. Sometimes you think, maybe it is deeply embedded in you as if you were born with this feeling because it feels too familiar. Perhaps you just have to sit with it till it passes. Sand Castles and Other Poems is about those nameless moments wherein your heart and mind seems to be melancholy but you can't ascertain why.
