Author's Name: Sarah Al-Hajj About the Author: Sarah Al-Hajj is 18 years old and from the United Kingdom and Lebanon. She grew up in Dubai, and is now studying English Literature and Psychology at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Despite having always adored reading prose and poetry, she developed an interest at a young age for songwriting and composition, even being awarded the COBIS Young Composer of the Year in 2023. This avocation evolved into writing poetry, where she felt her thoughts could be better manifested, separate from the aid of musical accompaniment. Sarah's first serious poem, 'The Colour of Passion' was written as part of a spoken-word poetry competition in 2021 and marked the beginning of her ambition to write and publish.
