Description of the Book:
Wheel of Solstice is a collection of poetry that came sporadically on intermittent restless tender nights along with a flush of venerable poems on ageing that haunted the poet for several years. The poems do not necessarily follow a theme but the earlier poems have emerged from moments of nostalgia. The later poems are about geriatric concerns which eventually concern each one of us at some point in time.
These poems sprouted after a long time of disappearance of poetry from the poet's life and therefore are like scattered stars in the sky.

Author's Name: OMKAR BHATKAR About the Author: Dr. Omkar Bhatkar is a Mumbai-based Sociologist and a protean playwright who extensively uses poetry. He mostly works with poetry presentations for the stage using movement, music, and visual aesthetics along with the verse. He writes and directs plays and makes independent feature films and documentaries. In collaboration with Alliance Française de Bombay, he has directed several Contemporary French Plays in English. He is also a Stage Critic and reviews plays. Dr. Bhatkar’s play ‘Blue Storm’ was selected at the Asia Playwrights Theatre Festival 2021 held in South Korea. He has been teaching Film and Aesthetics and involved in theatre making, poetry, and cinema for a decade now and hopes to die painting.
