Description of the Book:
Legend says it’s still all wild frontier, but that isn’t quite so. Behind society’s trends? Yes. But that’s the best part.
It’s a place where there are still open plains. Cattle and horses wander almost like they’re free.
A place where neighbors still get together
And kids are raised with discipline and love.
Family events include all your second and third cousins.
When someone needs a hand it’s offered without expecting anything in return.
And when there is a sporting event or musical performance, the whole town shows up to support.
This is a collection of poems that will resonate with anyone who’s from this piece of Heaven on earth: the Midwest.
We Grew Up Wild
Author's Name: Fehrin Mae Brindley About the Author: Her second grade teacher told Fehrin Mae to “write about it during writing time” whenever she had exciting tales to share. Thus grew her love for putting pen to paper and sharing her words. Her first series “the Sunset Series” was a set of five books published with construction paper and staples. It wasn’t until she was out of college, that she officially published her first work “A Pony Named Dot.” That experience brought rebirth to her childhood dream and she has since published 2 more children’s books, 3 guided journals, and is working on several projects in just three years. When she isn’t writing, Fehrin Mae is teaching, coaching, riding horses, playing guitar, and loving on her two little boys.
