About the Author: Sloka is a Chartered accountant by education and has been working in professional services for a Big4 accounting firm in transactions services, building financial models and valuations for her clients. Aside of her love for MS-Excel and numbers, Sloka has many interests! Her life's motto is "All I want is everything"!! She is a self-confessed amateur writer who loves to put her thoughts, ideas and feelings into words and stitch them into poems, short stories or blog posts. She blogs (less frequently than she'd like!) on www.slokabs.in (www.slokabs.wordpress.com). She used to be a voracious reader polishing off over 30 books a year but is now looking to get back to avid reading as she balances work, life and her ever-changing priorities! Sloka is also a trained carnatic classical singer with over 20 years for formal training. She enjoys singing and recording covers in her free time and always has a song playing in her head as background music to her life! Sloka loves her me-time to give wings to her creative pursuits, which apart from music, writing and reading, includes doodling, small DIY projects and cooking.
