When have you not felt these feelings?

We are all surrounded by a whirlwind of emotions - the dreams that keep us going, the desires that consume us, the dread that grips us, the depression that suffocates us, the doubt that clouds us, and the daring that pushes us forward. These feelings are universal, and there's not a person alive who hasn't experienced them. Feeling them, making sense of them, and navigating them takes time and introspection.

As a person who ran away from her emotions all the time, I found solace and answers in the therapeutic and cathartic act of writing poetry. And that's why this anthology is so important to me. It's a plea to everyone to take a moment to listen to your hearts, to embrace every emotion, and to truly feel alive, even when you feel stuck.

Each of these poems comes from a place of deep vulnerability, exploring the raw and unfiltered aspects of life that we often try to push aside. They were born from moments of heartbreak, of struggling with career choices, of battling my own demons, and so much more. But in each piece, I hope to convey the message that you're not alone in your struggles, and that "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

This anthology is my offering to those who may be grappling with their own emotions. It is my hope that these poems will resonate with you, uplift you, and remind you that you are not alone. Together, let us journey "under the purple sky," a place of magic, beauty, hope, and possibility, where we can connect and find solace in our shared humanity.
