About the Author: Tage Kanno is a pediatrician by profession. Born in the picturesque Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, Kanno hails from the Apatani tribe, where his early childhood was steeped in the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of his homeland. Though education and work took him away from his birthplace for nearly three decades, the valley's serene beauty and cultural richness remain etched in his heart. Driven by a profound love for writing, Kanno pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism even while completing his medical education. He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Applied Community Change and Conservation from Future Generations University in West Virginia. Kanno’s active involvement with numerous civil societies, fostering community empowerment and environmental conservation, has given him opportunities to extensively travels across South America, North America, and Asia, not only broadening his horizons but also deepening his dedication to various causes. A lover of the great outdoors, Kanno finds solace and inspiration in trekking and photography, capturing the beauty of the nature through his lens.
