Description of the Book:
UDAAN is a message for all the readers to unlock the cage of their emotions, break them out and set themselves free to fly higher and higher by adding feathers to their wings. It contains 21 poetries about how a person fights silent battles all by themselves and not realising their ability beyond their emotions. The poetries are a perfect messenger for all of us to never underestimate our skills, our dreams and our capabilities.
The poems in the book teach us various morals. It says that sufferings are inevitable. Life ruins us all in some way or the other, but if we break out the cage, we can become the authors of our own recovery and we can choose to step on that feeling of being ruined in order to help others. We recover when we wipe someone’s tear, rather than crying ourselves.
The poetries are dedicated to the people who have often found it easier to project a fake smile rather than express the true magnitude of their sorrow. Though this world isn’t meant for such beautiful selfless individuals and how sometimes others can’t appreciate the strength of your character. But please see yourself as the eagle that has its faith on its wings (your capabilities) rather than the durability of the branch upon which it rests (your situation).
The author urge her readers to be understanding and compassionate towards such silent warriors who often feel abandoned and lost even when they are surrounded by others around them. Every life is valuable and even a small act of kindness can create a massive positive change in someone else’s life.

Author Name: Surbhi Bothra About the Author: Surbhi Bothra, born on 27 December, 1995, is an Electronics and Communication Engineer, an Educator, a Poet and a Writer by profession. She is a Child Counselor and a Motivational Speaker.
