Description of the Book:
The collection of poems in this book are different facets of things that as an individual belonging a community or rather the society I was quite hesitant to confront. Carol Hanisch, a radical feminist used the phrase, "The personal is political" to describe the second wave of feminism but why should this phrase be restricted only to characterize feminism?
Well, the outside is often interwoven with the inside. Life is meta in nature. There are subplots that you are obliged to connect to the larger narrative to make sense of life. Being a woman, a fresh-out-of-college graduate with an impending impulse to question everything is not easy when there is a narrow, dark road ahead of you. The poems in this book are subplots of an individual's life. As she falls into a downward spiral of exploding emotions, she uses words to express the vehemence of this action. This book and the poems is more than just a challenge. It is an enclosed interaction with the intricacies of nothingness.
