About the Author: Born and bred amongst the gum trees 40 years ago, Kerri has had a passion for writing ever since she could hold a crayon. She is an Aussie miner's wife, a mother to three children, one dog and two praying mantis. Kerri has explored the Australian outback from coast to coast, working in education with young children for almost 20 years. The vast, untouched beauty of her back yard along with her life experiences have forever been an inspiration for writing. She is passionate about encouraging children to connect with and express their emotions through writing as it is a therapeutic tool for her. Kerri's lifelong dream has been to share a collection of her poetry with others that can appreciate the complexity of life's simplicity.
