About the Author: Corinne has been a storyteller all her life. From being born with "an imagination too big for her skull" (quote from her Dad); to spending her childhood in ballet rehearsals and performing plays; to writing her first poem at the age of sixteen; she has loved stories, in all their forms. Now, at twenty one years old, Corinne is in her third year of an English with Creative Writing degree at the University of Aberdeen. Corinne's work focuses on her personal experiences with mental health, growing up, finding the beauty in difficult times and, mostly, her love of hot beverages. Her goal is for her poems to be a source of comfort to anyone who reads. In 2022, Corinne began performing her poems in spoken word, and this confidence boost inspired her to share her words with the world.
