Description of the Book:

A compilation of poems which sprouted individually before rearrangement into a journey from emotional heights to valley floors and ending in a space of subtly euphoric contemplation somewhere in between. These poems range from hyperbolic outlooks on heartbreak in the personal life of the author and in the realities of the past and present world around him to faith filled riddles and plainly inspirational pieces meant to give a sense hope and empathy to all readers.

About the Author: Poetry and songwriting have been a love of mine for a while now. As a young 22 year-old guy from Washington State (USA), I grew up in a region with great opportunity to explore the outdoors. My many experiences and therefore understandings/perspective of nature shows itself in the metaphors and themes of many of my poems in one way or another. As a Christian, virtues of my faith seep into my writings as well. I have the love and prayers of my parents, siblings, close friends, and God to thank for where and who I am today. Recently graduating from college after being in school for the last 18 years has placed me in new territory. I’m currently in limbo between attempts to find jobs and possibly pursuing other dreams, like writing, which I pray this first publishing of mine will help with. *Thanks for reading.
