Description of the Book:
This collection is the result of many connections, feelings, opportunities, late nights, and special moments I have experienced. Many of my poems are derived from personal thoughts and opinions, while others were inspired by how certain people made me feel. These pieces explore many topics - love, society, mental health, family, and personal growth. By reading this collection, you will get an idea of what it’s like to be a weird, complicated, creative, and determined seventeen-year-old girl. You will get to think about some of the world’s interesting questions and reflect upon your own thoughts and opinions. Most importantly, you will get a chance to enjoy yourself and ride an emotional roller coaster of joy, melancholy, confusion, and realization.

Author's Name: Amreet Gill About the Author: I am a South Asian girl from Canada, just learning about the world and everything in it. I began writing poetry in 2020, when the pandemic had become significant. I instantly fell in love with poetry after writing my first piece called “A Call To Action.” Before I knew it, I was writing poems after poems. Besides indulging myself in poetry, I enjoy reading books, volunteering in my community, fitness activities, spending time with my loved ones, and finding new ways to learn and grow as an individual.
