I wrote most of the poems featured in this book sitting on my great-grandpa’s easy chair in Pathanamathitta, Kerala. It’s raining incessantly outside the window. I have always been drawn to water – to the beaches, waterfalls, rivers, bubbles, clouds…maybe that’s why the theme of ‘water’ flows across the book. The poems look within and without and are based on my interpretations of what I see, hear and feel.
