Author's Name: Natalie Brenson-Sangster About the Author: I live in a small cabin in a small seaside community in Nova Scotia, where I have semi retired after many years of working in healthcare and education. I am recently widowed, which is the influence of this particular piece of work. I grew up in a military family, moving around the world every couple of years, creating a world of loneliness from a very young age. I began writing poetry as a way to channel my loneliness and grief from experiencing so many goodbyes before the age of 18. Since the loss of my husband poetry has once again helped me process the pain that accompanies, grief and loss.
