In this collection of poems, the writer reflects on the pensiveness of winter, marked by a sense of parched emptiness, coinciding
with autumn's multi- coloured departure. But he goes on to realize that beyond the initial melancholy, are many more layers to winter, hiding many shades of happiness, both nostalgic and contemporary. Like the fuzzy warmth of the winter sun, these are all a bit crispy, yet full of glow, vibrancy and simplicity needing just a bit of introspection to realize
that it is not nature, but our fallible human minds
that fail to realise that each season is beautiful
