These poems represent the author's diverse experience during her 20s. Several were written within the moment and provide a strong subjective perspective to the world around. Other poems look back on this decade, and dwell on themes of heartbreak, illness, nostalgia, and loss of the old ecological security, attempting a more nuanced view of how live evolved through various challenges, resulting in complex growth and deeper insights.
