She is a social worker, yoga teacher, artist, writer, traveller, music and nature lover, and strongly believes that "the more you know, the more you know you don't know"- everyday she feels blessed by the beautiful people that appear in her life and how much she learns from them, their courage, personalities and experiences. As a social worker, Courtenay is passionate about working alongside children and families to assist in empowering individuals to live a more authentic, fulfilling and value-based life, recognising each person as unique and very capable of achieving anything they want to. As a yoga teacher, Courtenay is fascinated by yoga's ability to reduce stress levels and the impacts of trauma on the body and mind, as well as its ability to assist people to connect back to their hearts and their true selves. From years of engaging in meditation, interacting with nature, travel, experiencing different cultures, learning from others of all ages and walks of life, she has found the importance of returning to love and knowing that “whatever is for you, won’t pass you”- a quote which someone told her during a challenging moment from her past which she has come to believe to be very true.
