Description of the Book:
Ask someone about their childhood, and you unlock a treasure chest of memories; inquire about their adult experiences and uncover a map of their soul. “The Seasons of Poetry” invites you into a serene sanctuary, where each poem unfurls like a delicate petal, revealing stories to the reader. Crafted with precision, this collection traverses’ vast landscapes of love, loss, joy, and introspection. Shaune B. Ryder weaves a tapestry of verses, each line a brushstroke on the canvas of human experience.
The title reflects the poet’s brilliance in observing how human emotions mirror the seasons – unique and ever-changing, subtly invoking distinct memories and perspectives. Life, like seasons, transforms constantly with emotional essence and lessons.
From the innocence of “My Little White Kitten,” the genius humour of “A Man’s Wedding Vows,” to the tragedy of the tear-jerking “My Childhood Memories,” these poems span a lifetime. Haikus tiptoe alongside limericks, and every line echoes the heartbeat of existence. This collection reminds us of the fleeting nature of moments urging us to embrace the present and will resonate with readers long after the last leaf has turned.
