Doel Sengupta was born into a scholarly stalwart family in 1985 to Ruma and Dhrubojyoti Sengupta. She picked up her wands (the paintbrush and the pen) much before she even turned one, evoking magic with her imagination, nurtured by her doting parents and grandparents, using the wall as her canvas much to the chagrin of her elders. She wrote her first poem at the age of eight and has been penning poesies ever since. This short book of poems is an offering to love that Doel has wholeheartedly dedicated her life to spreading.
