This book contains 18 poems which have been written over the past few years. I have poured my heart and soul into each poem that I have written. About the Author: I am Sameeksha Malhotra. I am eighteen years old and I reside in Chandigarh. Truth be told, I have been writing poems since I was seven years old. When I first started writing as a seven year old, my mother helped me choose the most appropriate words to express my thoughts into words. I have been writing independently since I was eight and have written in multiple genres: fiction, dystopia, fairytale and non-fiction. Over the years, I have had my poems published in several newspapers and school magazines. I won the Silver Award for a poem I wrote in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition in 2022. Writing poems helps me express and understand myself better. Reading and writing poems is very therapeutic to me. I have grown up reading poems and have resonated with multiple poems during different phases of my life.
