Author's Name: Sade Eatton About the Author: Sáde Deanara Eatton is a young African American woman who was born on Saturday May 18, 1996 in Portland, OR. She is the youngest of 5 other children from her father's side of the family but grew up an only child who was raised by her mother. Sáde has suffered tremendous traumatic events throughout her personal life that resulted in mental and emotional deterioration. Her mother constantly moved them from state to state - city to city making Sade's childhood unstable. Sáde found a way to "escape" from her life of troubles through singing, playing sports, writing poetry or surrounding herself within nature. She was known to be quiet and withdrawn from people but has since discovered that writing poetry was her go to method of escaping abuse, instability and the feels of loneliness. It was the best way she could express herself to empty out her negative emotions on paper through the freedom of writing. Furthermore, at just 6 years of age, Sáde began writing poems as her means of therapy and now at age 26 Sáde will take us on a journey to open her inside life on the hardships she faced throughout her childhood with the entry into Sade's "The Liberation of my Inner Thoughts."
