The book captures author's trysts with inspiration in the midst of a mundane 9-to-5 routine. The act of poetic creation is like entering another realm of existence. Sometimes it's 'a spontaneous overflow'. At other times, it's a laboured exercise. Perhaps that is why Eliot believed that the experiencing mind is different from the poet's mind. It is like entering a space of alternate reality. A space where one writes one's reality. This poetic collection is an attempt to keep that realm alive in this world.

Questions like who is an author? What is art? Is reality dualistic? What is reality? what is mind? have been probed into through the lens of a poet's mind.

Sri Aurobindo opined that evolution happened at the level of consciousness and the highest consciousness is yet to be manifested in this world. The writer holds that creative arts can facilitate the manifestation of the next level of consciousness on Earth since it strives to bring down/express/manifest the Ideal.
