Description of the Book:
Our mind is afloat in a sea of thoughts throughout the day. So, when night comes knocking, it starts to concoct a dreamy recipe from these swirling thoughts to send us in trances, both fantastical and nightmarish. Sometimes, these reflections may spill into the day, launching us into adventurous reveries.
These daydreams are a way for our mind to put itself at ease from the chaotic web of continuous deliberations. It seeks to form wonderous stories out of the disconnected array of notions. These stories bring about the much-needed order in our disorderly restless psyche.
What causes this restlessness? Well, the ever-altering world around us! The world which is a fast-paced one, where we are forced to participate in the rat race that no one ever wins. As a result, we are left feeling overwhelmed, when all we want is peace and calm. Peace and calm are hard to come by when the inner spheres of the mind are pulsating with frenzied musings. Interestingly, for many of us, fables, myths, legends, and folklores become the source of a much-needed respite from the turbulent domain that we live in. As we dive deep into these fictional fabrications, the restless emotions start channelising themselves. This gives rise to intricately woven daydreams and lucidly constructed dreamscapes, stemming from the seams of our minds.
Presenting, here, a collection of such imaginative daydreams, or just dreams, in the form of a set of poems. These poems aim to provide you with a much-needed break from your everyday strife and immerse you in a realm of tranquil. So read on, these odes, that were conceived from the innermost corners of a swamped mind and sprinkled on the pages of this book. Read on, to soak in the Sprinkles of the Inner Mind!
