Description of the Book:
All of us, no matter who we are or where we are, seek that which lies beyond the turmoil of fear. Unfazed by worries, living as happiness itself.
To find joy we grind ourselves down to the bone, exhaust ourselves till sleep is a foreign concept, take on so much pain and hurt in the belief that someday soon, it will be worth every gram of discomfort it took.
I am no different. In this same search, I stumble lost and confused often. Often, the uncertainty of what lies ahead grips me with a paralysis that seems beyond recourse. In those moments, I turn to poetry.
In our shared intimacy, the blank page and I help each other: the page becomes my heart's medic, the salve on my fears and I make the blankness into something more as I adorn it with the uncensored stream of what flows in me.
My only wish is that as you read through the poems in this book, you too find an ember, a spark, a sliver, a way back to yourself, your true self who is unblemished by fear, who is the creator of his own peace, the composer of his own happiness. The one who is endowed with this great gift of life.
