Description of the Book:
 
“ Someone, Sometime, Somewhere” is not just a collection of poems. It is simply, the voice of my heart in the form of words and rhymes. Often, I have been asked, ‘What makes a poet? “Trust me, all I do, when I hear this is smile, because there is not just one characteristic that goes into the making of a poet. It is a combination of observation, feeling, sensitivity, compassion and finally, your own ability to create.

“For a painter, creativity lies in his choice of colours…..
For a poet, in words…….”

For me, writing poetry is like going to a temple. It is that sacred. It is simply, the medium through which I laugh, I cry and I dream. It is the medium through which I bare my heart and soul. In simple words, it is the medium through which I live.

Each of the poems that you read here are special to me in their own way. Each one, is written, keeping in mind a particular event, feeling, thought and person. Each one, is a special dedication.

“ Someone……” has been growing period for me. It is a transition from the child in me, to the teenager, to an adult and finally to the woman I am now. From innocence to heartbreaks, from responsibilities to marriage, to motherhood, this transition has been difficult as well as interesting. With each stage of growth, comes wisdom, strength and the courage to live life as it comes!

I hope that somewhere, these poems touch your soul, stir up a memory or help you reach out to a lost love. I hope that my words help you realize that life is, indeed beautiful, if lived well
