This book is a collection of poems by me. A collection of feelings recorded inside the sodden pages. Under a birch tree that drips water droplets on the ground sits a journal. Yellow, decaying parchment painted with smudged writings that sings the melodies of a time forgotten, a time begging to be remembered. These sodden pages carries my memories and feelings.

Author Name: Soumi Sarkar About the Author: The author, Soumi Sarkar, was born in 1996 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She has completed her Graduation in English Honours in the year 2017 from WBSU, and is now pursuing her Masters in the subject. She works in the Ministry of Communication. "Sodden Pages" is the first book by Sarkar, which is a poetry book. Her hobbies include reading fiction, painting, writing poems and short stories and learning new languages. Her ambition is to become a world renowned author one day.
