The other side portrays a strong mother
Flip it and there is an understanding partner
The other side portrays a fearless fighter
Flip it and there is a beautiful sister
The other side portrays a dutiful breadwinner
Flip it and she incarnates as Laxmi, Saraswati, Parwati
The other side portrays the evil destroyer Durga and Kali
Flip it and your opinion she can resonate
The other side of her can strongly negotiate
For she is
A passionate Multifaceted Woman


Dear friends,

As indicated in the lines above, we women are multitalented and multifaceted yet considered as the weaker section of the society.

Is it so because we are programmed to follow the set rules
Or because our emotional side outweighs our other talents

Is it so because though we brilliantly camouflage our tears with a smile on our face but our eyes are much more expressive
Or because we readily succumb before the wishes and desires of our near and dear ones

Is it so because we have our periods of turbulences and turmoils
Or because we are not muscular and sturdy enough to fight for ourselves

All through our lives we play varied roles in the society.
Some of us are housewives, some are working, but all of us are for sure delivering our assigned duties enthusiastically and candidly.

Still most of the our sentiments remain unsaid and unheard.

Through these twenty one poems, I have tried to bring out some of those varied emotions that a woman goes through in her lifetime, so that they no more remain unsaid and sincerely wish that they are heard and understood.

A baby, a daughter, a girl, a bride, a wife, a daughter-in-law, a mother, a working woman or a housewife, come let's get close and discuss our emotions in these works.
