Description of the Book:
A virgin attempt at drawing words from the conscience, 'Hireath' is an anthology of poetry that has been collected from core memories. Ardour, apathy, exuberance, emotion are some of the things talked about and paraphrased in it. It hopes to lend hope to people who think solitude is a misfortunate companion, and prove how it can be a beautiful bounty for creativity.
The book deals with a number of emotions; copying the likes of a personal diary, where the different poems denotes the different moods of the writer then and the moods of the reader now as they're reading.
Patience is a key element here as the author has piled her words up over time and ultimately found the nerve to drop it off in anticipation that fellow readers resonate with it as much or as little as nod in unanimity if not approve of it.
The cover, credits to Gunjan Pratim Mahanta, is an accurate depiction of the mood that is carried throughout the anthology. It yearns of a distant home that only exists in our dreams, one which we can only intend to reach with nothing but words and clear intentions.
The book sings of seasons, talks about trauma, narrates anecdotes amongst many other things. Had it not been for the diary of the once young author, that had given up hope of ever catching the spotlight, falling on the hands of one particular lovely stranger in a cafe who successfully cajoled the author into deciding to publish, this edition would still be catching dust otherwise. So this book is also a result of sheer chance and hopes from readers to give the same chance to it.
