Description of the Book: 
I folded a paper plane and flung it across the landscape of my mind. It travelled through the darkest caves and over beautiful flowery plains. Sometimes under the scorching sun, and other times under vanilla skies. Gliding over crystal seas and cutting through cotton candy clouds. Almost getting torn and washed away in raging thunderstorms, only to be picked up and thrown high into the air again by warm summer winds.
'Secret Handshake' is what emerged from the other end, somehow in one piece. A paper plane, almost torn to shreds from all the chaos, carrying the scents of my wildest fantasies and stained with the colours bleeding from my fading memories. 
A collection of poems; some polished, some rough - just like the experiences and stories that inspired it.
This is me trying to make sense of the world around me, to capture the whirlwind of emotions that flows through me using words and metaphors. This is me trying to navigate my early 20s through all its ups and downs, through infatuations and heartbreaks, and through all the tears and smiles.
These are the raw, honest, and unpolished fragments of my soul that I am sharing with you in the hope that they will resonate with you. I hope it can bring you a quantum of comfort when you need it and let you know that wherever you are, whatever you are feeling, you are not alone. Hold your hand out to the sky. I am doing the same - this can be our secret handshake.
