Description of the Book:

Intimate and unvarnished, ‘Scatterings ‘is a collection of personal meanderings navigating through the creative process. The frustrations, humour and minor joys of attempting to bridge the chasm between inspired thought and written word informs most of this collection. The largely free-form, loosely bound works are an extension of the author’s own attempts to rediscover a spark lost over time, as well as reflections on themes as wide-ranging as loss, nostalgia, nature and gratitude.

  • Author's Name: Sujoy Chakravarthi
About the Author: Sujoy Chakravarthi is currently pursuing his PhD in Literature. He describes himself as "an author who does not write", storing away ideas and phrases which he fully intends to use at some undetermined point in time. He enjoys making people laugh (often at his own expense), music from decades ago, discussing football for hours on end and travelling as long as there is plenty of food at journey’s end. Hailing from the picturesque town of Darjeeling, he often laments that he cannot put what the place and its beauty mean to him in words - as a writer, the irony is not lost on him.
