About the Author: Born and raised in Delhi with roots in the serene landscapes of Uttarakhand's Kumaon region, I have been a poetess at heart since I was in school. Poetry comes naturally to me, but I don't conform to the conventional image of a poet who writes daily or who is very good with words. In fact, for me, poetry has been a way to express the most complex emotions that I find hard to articulate in everyday conversations. I also don't take writing as a task; it is a spontaneous outpouring of my soul, and I only write when my emotions demand to be expressed. In my personal life, spontaneity and spirituality are my guiding principles. I am known for being real and unconventional. Living on my own terms, and have fought hard to carve out this path for myself.
