Description of the Book:
They say an idle mind is a devil's workshop. How true. And the Devil better pay me for it is exhausting to label all the emotions the mind goes through - especially when idle. Cynicism fares well in those who have tasted grief for only they have faced both sides of the coin. Not saying they know better, but that they know a tad more. Just a tad. A sad tad. The poems showcase loneliness, sorrow, cynicism (of course) and even suicidal ideation. To put the pessimism aside though falls not in line with the character of a realist. There are good times and there are bad. There are sad times and there are mad. There are fun times and those are great. Also, funny times when there's always bait. (Why, oh, why am I rhyming in the description section!). Regardless of the times we face and experience, sorrow is like a season one must experience. For without sorrow, there can be no appreciation of joy.

Author Name: C Storm About the Author: I'm an amateur writer but a professional cynic (if that's a thing. If it isn't, well, it should be. I'd be a millionaire.) I have under my belt a couple of degrees that have zilch to do with writing, but I harbour a passion for it nonetheless. These poems are a reflection of a bleak time in my life. Grief is my muse. While convoluted, I feel they bluntly state facts of life. Book ISBN: 9789395621038
