Description of the Book :
On December 1, 2018 I walked into the ring for the first, and only time. Following my fight, in an amateur charity boxing match, I suffered from a traumatic acute subdural hematoma and was rushed to emergency. Thankfully surgery was not required. I woke up in ICU with no comprehension of the previous night’s events; and was so unprepared for the battle I would begin to fight, and continue to fight everyday. This is a series of poetry sharing my journey of recovery after my brain injury.
