Sometimes, when you get lost in your thoughts in the middle of the night or in the middle of high mountains, poetry happens. It must indeed be cathartic to be able to express your emotions poetically. Isn’t it?

This short collection of poems is the journey of an average Indian girl through different stages of life. There is school, there is college, there is the unsurmountable pressure of entrance examinations. And then there is love and heartbreak and accidents like marriage!

She has an all-strings attached existence in this country, yet she dares to dream. She is buried under the weight of societal expectations, yet she strives to carve her own path.
