About the Author: Kathryn A. Warrington hails from Rhode Island. Her journey as a poet began in 1998 at Wickford Elementary School, where she achieved recognition by winning a National Poetry Contest, leading to the publication of one of her poems. She later attended St. Mary's Academy Bay View High School, where she earned the prestigious Scholastic Art and Writing Award in 2004, receiving a Gold Key for her outstanding work in Visual Arts.
