Author's Name: Jyoti Gupta About the Author: Born in Bangalore on 15 June 1949, Jyoti Gupta was brought up in Delhi where she completed her post-graduation in English Literature from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She served as an Associate Professor of English Literature at Vivekanand College, University of Delhi, for 44 years. She started writing at the age of 13 and her writings were frequently published in school and college magazines. In 2007, her first book 'Anand Kamal', a compilation of her Hindi poems, was published. In 2014, her second book 'Angoor', a compilation of her Hindi and English poems, was published.
