Description of the Book:
Petrichor is the pleasant smell that accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather. Consequently, this book will be a composition of rediscovery, rejuvenation, reflection that has been found again by the author after an extended period of constant lows. These poems emerged from a time of drought and vulnerability and have now transcended to a state of solace and comfort, a reassurance of goodness, exploring certain themes like questioning one’s self, love and loss, isolation and change, happiness and curiosity, friendships and relationships among other aspects in the author’s life that have been now made into poignant poetry. Most of these are cathartic and personal, of which have had major inspiration based off significant people in her life. Whether it be real or fictional, this book is an ode to all the memorable moments cherished and lessons she learnt till now - how they have affected her and transformed her.
