Description of the Book:

Often, I find myself waiting for permission. I was trained this way. At school, I had to ask for permission, to go to the bathroom. At home, I had to ask for permission to go outside. At work, I have to ask for permission to go on a vacation. My whole life, I’ve looked for permission to live my life. When in reality the only permission I need, is my own.

I created this book as a journal, to give myself permission. I did this for 21 days, to create a map, showing how freeing it can be to give myself permission. Permission to live my life, on my terms, despite what is expected of me. Permission to take back my power. Permission to be in control of my life. Permission to make mistakes and learn from them. Permission to make myself the most important person in my life. Because if I don’t have me, who does?

About the Author: I'm a young women, who's learning how to navigate life. I'm very observant and I listen to understand. I learn through experience but mostly from listening to wisdom. I often get told that I'm an old soul, I’m very intelligent, goofy, creative, understanding, witty and easy to talk to but very guarded. However, I see myself as a walking contradiction. Nothing about me really makes sense. I'm an introvert with extroverted tendencies. During the day I'm a free spirit but at night I'm an over thinker. I’m a hippie with anger issues. A perfectionist with a scattered mind and a hard body with a soft soul. I’m 5 feet tall with a 6 foot attitude, I’m mature but childish and I can’t see or hear without my glasses. I think the best way for me to describe myself would simply be, quirky.
