Pages from a Dusty Diary
Author's Name: Rachayita Roy About the Author: Rachayita Roy, a post-graduate in English Literature from Bodoland University, has always had an immense affinity towards creative writing since her childhood. While pursuing Bachelor's in English from Gauhati University, she penned a plethora of poetry which lay buried in the pages of a dusty diary, too reluctant to get them published. Her poetry centers around social issues, mental health awareness, and various other less-spoken about issues. She believes that words are powerful, and uses her writings to voice the "voiceless" or rather, "the muted voices". In this collection, she has focused her poetry on much relatable matters such as love, heartbreak, hope, nature, peace, life and so on. Apart from writing, she has keen interest in music, psychology and photography. When not writing, she is found strumming her guitar or ukulele, and singing her heart out. An Assam native, she is a lover of naps, momos, hills and rivers. A hardcore nature-lover, she also endeavours to spread mental health awareness through her blog 'Lilac Hued Healing'.
