Description of the Book:
 
This book contains 21 poems all written over 6 years. Some might not make much sense and are rough around the edges and unpolished while others are written more recently. Every word and every sentence in this book are my unfiltered thoughts. They’re “Naked Truths”. They’re plain unadorned facts, with no concealment or embellishment.

This is my Naked Truth; I have struggled with mental health issues for a long time. It has always been a struggle for me to talk about it. I always thought people would view me differently and think I was completely flawed. I could never speak up about what intense feelings I had. And it’s an ongoing struggle. At times it feels like it’s never going to end and I would just be taken away by the bouts of sadness that come through.

It’s not like that. Just one more time. I tell myself that every day. Every day I wake up and think I can do it. I will do it. I won’t let it win. I’m going to fight my hardest and I’m going to win. And the first step to that is speaking up about it. If you need help please ask for it. I can’t promise that it’ll be easy and only the initial contact is hard. It’s going to be hard but you are not alone.
