Author's Name: M. Aqil Malik About the Author: M Aqil Malik is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmaceutical and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He has 28 years of experience in teaching and research in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacy Practice. Having completed his PhD in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard in 2002, he has supervised 12 PhD theses. He has published 254 research and review papers in national and international scientific journals and has co-authored 13 scientific books. M Aqil is a recipient of the Scientist of the Year Award for the year 2006 and the UGC Research Award in 2012. He has been the editor of the Journal of Pharmacy and Bio-allied Sciences since 2009 till date. He was a visiting scientist to the School of Pharmacy, London under the International Exchange of Scientists Program of the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi and the Royal Society, UK in 2006 and was also a recipient of the BOYSCAST fellowship of DST, Govt. of India for a post-doctoral research tenure at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2008.
