About the Author: The author of this small collection of poems, Nisha Top-Teagarden, was born Nisha Miller in the city of Madras, in Tamil Nadu, India to a Welsh father, named Harry Miller and Tamil Brahmin mother, named Revati Parthasarathy. She grew up in the small village of Thirumullavoyal in a beautiful house named "The Frogs". She attended a British day school with her brother, Robin. As a teenager, she left home and spent time in Pondicherry. She moved to the UK at the age of 23, where she lived with her daughter Tara.
