Author's Name: Terrance Jeffries About the Author: Terrance Jeffries is an African American poet who resides in Western New York. As one would say, where the winters are too long, and the summers are too short. His love for the written word has played a critical role throughout his journey in life. As being the only child, at a very young age he became immersed in the words of others as an escape from the uncertainties of his own. Although, developing a love for literature in his adolescence, it would be quite some time before he would unveil what he was most passionate about. Social media became the aide to help overcome the fear of being judged or misunderstood and by 2017 one of Terrance’s pieces was used in the anthology Poetica: Volume 1. A few years later, he was selected again to be featured in the anthology Tangled Sheets: Poetry for Lovers.
