Description of the Book:
 
My poems are like messages. They were written as messages to myself when I was lost in the desert that life sometimes became. In that desert, I looked for ways to get out, an answer, an oasis. And they came to me as a glimpse of things that I needed to change in me or my surroundings, things that reflected my deepest desires, little contemplations that spoke more than my words ever will. They were brief and transient, not unlike an illusion. They were like mirages. They were never the same and they would not be the same for anyone who reads them either. My poems may have been messages to myself when I felt lost, but to whoever reads them, they will become their own mirages, their own reflections and their own understanding that will lead to their own unique epiphanies.
A mirage elates and then disappoints. But as folklore goes, everytime you see a mirage, an oasis isn't far away. They come in unannounced, feeding on your vulnerabilities but they leave you with the belief that good things lie ahead, a new chance at old things and they fuel you with the zeal to keep looking for your oasis, which by the time you find, the desert turns into an ocean.
