Author's Name: Neha Jain About the Author: Neha Jain is in her final year of Doctoral research at the Centre for French and Francophone Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Towards her degree for Master of Philosophy, her work on the phenomena of enracinerrance in migrant writings from France and Quebec was one of the pioneering works of the Centre in literature from the contemporary extreme. Her research interests are manifest in her publications on transcultural writings, gender studies and Indian mythology. She has worked on various literary translations, notably Shakespeare’s Macbeth,which received critical and popular acclaim at New Delhi’s Shri Ram Centre for Arts. The play was directed by theatre veteran K.Madavane. She has been invited to share her reflections on the theme of migration and religion in European literature at the Maison des arts, l'Université Libre de Bruxelles. She has received the prestigious Bourse Gaston Miron awarded by the International Association for Quebec Studies (AIEQ) in to complete her archival work at the University of Quebec in Montreal under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Chartier in 2019. She has also received the National Full time Doctoral Scholarship awarded by the Indian Council for Social Science Research, Government of India, towards upcoming projects in Culture Studies.
