Maps of Milk and Stars is a journey through the tides of modern life - balancing motherhood, love, distance, and identity in a rapid changing world. In twenty-three poems, Ayushi Doval captures the intimacy of lullabies, the vastness of the sea, and the restless hum of a generation raised on WiFi and shrinking horizons. This debut collection is both deeply personal and universally resonant. A lyrical map of what it means to belong to many worlds and yet remain free under one sky.

About the Author: "Ayushi Doval is a 28 year old PhD scholar, mother and wife to a merchant navy captain. She describes her life as being always in transit - between lullabies and longitude, between the rhythms of research and the unpredictability of the sea. Her poetry emerges from this in-between space : the 3 A.M. stillness of feeding her son, long pauses of waiting for her husband, and the shifting landscapes of a generation born into WiFi and raised under shrinking horizons. In her words, These poems are messages in bottles- some are love letters to the sea, some to the land, and some to the future that belong to our children."
