Description of the Book:
The poems in this collection have emerged from the experiences of being constantly astounded by the beauty of Wayanad, a quaint and quiet district in Kerala, India. The entire district is on the mountains and have pleasant climate throughout the year. Since there are no industries, the air is clear and the sun shines bright and piercingly beautifully all around the year. The poet's engagement with this land and it stunning scenery through her bike and car rides everyday has been the muse for her poems in this collection. Wayanad has been her haven after being worn out from the travails of urban life and surviving cancer. The poems are philosophical and quiet like the place she lives in and it brings forth the contentment that being close to nature has brought to her.

Author's Name: Vidya Premkumar About the Author: Dr Vidya Premkumar has been an educator for the last 22 years as the Head of the Department of English, Mithibai College, Mumbai. She decided to explore her other passions of poetry writing and painting full time after a tryst with breast cancer in 2022. She had occasionally published her poems as a part of different anthologies and for online journals before 2022. She has a dedicated online Instagram page for her poems now where she puts up her works regularly. She accompanies it with photographs of the place that she now calls her home: Wayanad in Kerala.
